Cable

Waxes from DEUREX are ideally suited as processing agents in the cable industry. They lower the processing temperature, act as dispersing agents and lubricants. With polyethylene waxes and Fischer-Tropsch waxes one can find products for both price-sensitive and high-value applications. Sugar cane waxes are a new, sustainable and biological alternative to conventional synthetic waxes.

In general, waxes are best suited for insulating cables. The flexible and soft DEUREX waxes protect cables from becoming brittle. In addition, cables are protected from UV radiation, ozone and weather conditions by the protective film that waxes form on the surface.
