Two exceptional products for surface modification and process optimization: the polyvinylether waxes DEUREX V 02 G and DEUREX V 0222 M.
These products have an extremely low dropping point (< 65 °C) and are very hard (penetration < 2 dmm). This offers you the following advantages:
Surface modification
• Improved scratch and abrasion resistance
• Formation of thin, hard functional layers
• Easily polishable, silky gloss
Process optimization
• Rapid melting at low processing temperatures
• Quick re-solidification after melting
• Good solubility in organic solvents at temperatures above 38 °C
• Solutions (25 %) can be prepared by gentle heating (recommended 50 °C) followed by cooling (without stirring)
• Compatible with standard synthetic and natural polymers in any mixing ratio
• Energy savings in the process
Depending on your processing method, we recommend the free-flowing wax granules DEUREX V 02 G or the micronized wax DEUREX V 0222 M.
