DEUREX A 20 K
Bio based EBS wax, fine granules
DEUREX A 20 K is a bio-based ethylene bis stearamide wax (EBS wax) supplied as fine, white granules. This high-melting, temperature-stable wax serves as a processing aid, dispersing aid and release agent. It provides anti-blocking properties and is dust-free. In PVC, it can be used as both an internal and external lubricant. The product was developed specifically for polyamide masterbatches and functions as a degassing agent in powder coatings.
As a paraffin-free additive for bitumen, particularly mastic asphalt (MA), DEUREX A 20 K combines very good heat resistance with a targeted reduction in temperature and viscosity. It facilitates processing and supports optimized bitumen stability; it is also intended for polymer-stabilized bitumen. The drop point ranges from 142 to 151 °C, while the density at 23 °C is between 0.98 and 1.00 g/cm³. Penetration ranges from 2 to 5 mm·10⁻¹. The acid value is limited to 10 mg KOH/g and viscosity at 150 °C to 20 mPas. Food-contact approvals are available.
