DEUREX F 6408 W

DEUREX F 6408 W is an water based dispersion based on a modified Fischer-Tropsch wax coated with PTFE. This “spot coated” product was developed specifically for water based coatings and water based printing inks and is suitable for formulations requiring high surface resistance, good transparency, and reliable processing. As a white opaque, water based liquid dispersion, DEUREX F 6408 W is free from GHS/CLP labeling and can be efficiently integrated into modern aqueous coating and printing ink systems.

In application, DEUREX F 6408 W provides excellent abrasion and scratch resistance while improving chemical, temperature, and weathering resistance. The additive enhances slip properties, supports improved transparency, and offers good overprintability as well as reliable anti-blocking performance. With a solids content of 44 - 46 %, a typical particle size of approximately 3 µm, and 98 % of particles below 8 µm, DEUREX F 6408 W can be incorporated particularly finely and evenly into aqueous systems.
