DEUREX EO 4510 W
Water-based wax dispersion based on oxidized HDPE wax
DEUREX EO 4510 W is a water-based dispersion made from the polar, oxidized HDPE wax DEUREX EO 45. The white, opaque product combines the wax’s high hardness with high abrasion and scratch resistance. This oxidized polyethylene wax dispersion also improves slip properties, making it suitable for formulations that require a durable surface and good sliding characteristics. A non-ionic emulsifier system is used. The solids content ranges from 44 to 46 %, while the pH value is between 3.0 and 6.0.
Typical applications for this HDPE wax dispersion include the textile industry, slip and release agents, care products, paints and coatings, and the paper industry. DEUREX EO 4510 W can also be used in hot-melt adhesives. At least 98 % of the particles are smaller than 10 µm, with a typical particle size of approximately 6 µm at 50 %. The drop point of the wax ranges from 132 to 135°C.
