Biomere - biodegradable waxes

Biodegradable waxes of the BIOMERE-series are one answer to the question how to avoid microplastics. All waxes of the BIOMERE-series have a certified biodegradability. The waxes are up to 100 % bio based and they offer the same performance as non-degradable waxes. BIOMERE, the biodegradable waxes are suitable for all industries where commercial waxes are applied. These are printing inks, powder coatings, liquid coatings, masterbatch, PVC and plastics, hot melts, citrus fruit coatings, textiles, paper industry, polishes and many more. Biodegradable waxes are used to improve surface properties such as anti-blocking, rub resistance, scratch resistance or slip. They are resistant against chemicals, temperature, ozone. BIOMERE also work as processing agents to increase or decrease hydrophobicity, adjust processing temperature, pressure, torque and viscocity. BIOMERE provide an adjustable biodegradability adapted to the specific final product. The delivery forms of the biodegradable waxes are tailored to the respective application. BIOMERE are available as micronized waxes, as wax powders and as liquid waxes (wax dispersions and wax emulsions).
