Water based wax emulsion based on an oxidized MDPE
DEUREX EO 4101 W is an water based wax emulsion based on the oxidized MDPE DEUREX EO 41. The product is suitable for water based paints and coatings, water based slip and release agents, finishing auxiliaries for textiles, paper, and leather, as well as care products, polishes, hot melt adhesives, and wood coatings. The yellowish opaque liquid emulsion is VOC-free, APEO-free, and formaldehyde-free, supporting modern water-based formulations with high requirements for surface quality, processing, and resistance.
In application, DEUREX EO 4101 W improves blocking resistance and hydrophobization, increases surface gloss and surface smoothness, and enhances slip properties. At the same time, the wax emulsion contributes to improved scratch and rub resistance while reducing the coefficient of friction. With high hardness, temperature resistance, a solids content of 34 - 36 %, and an average particle size of 50 - 200 nm, DEUREX EO 4101 W can be efficiently integrated into aqueous systems.
