MASTERWAX 350
HDPE, double coated with 50 % PE wax, micronized
MASTERWAX® 350, another product in the MASTERWAX® 300 series, is a micronized HDPE coated with micronized polyethylene wax. It is the ideal choice for the production of masterbatches, especially when it comes to the incorporation of hard-to-disperse pigments, and is widely used in plastics processing. The use of MASTERWAX® 350 leads to a significant improvement in color yield and enables a considerable reduction in extrusion passes, which contributes to an effective reduction in manufacturing costs. Its outstanding feature is its extremely large surface area, which is 27 times larger than that of conventional HDPE granules, combined with excellent dispensability and flowability. As a white, micronized powder, MASTERWAX® 350 is conveniently available in big bags or 20 kg sacks. The “double coated” variant, an example from the series, consists of 50 % DEUREX® HDPE Micro 300 and 50 % DEUREX® E 0920 M.
